She auditioned and booked her first professional job on the movie Drumline 2 and moved to Atlanta, GA.

Years on the Team: 1988-1993
Years Coaching Golden Delight: 1994-1999
What would you say was most important to you as a coach during that time?
Clean routines. You needed to look like one flag twirling, one dancer dancing and one majorette twirling. Your attitude needed to be willing to adapt and learn swiftly.
Years on the Team: 1994-1998
Years Coaching Golden Delight: 2001-2006
What would you say was most important to you as a coach during that time?
My coaching time coincided with the drive to push Golden Delight to the "next level". During that it was important to me that the squad began to function as "one". Talent was never a problem for Golden Delight put there were times where you could see the ladies were not functioning as a squad and that lack of cohesiveness would transfer to performances that did not live up to standards. During this time I tried teach the ladies the importance of working and growing together, building relationships and functioning as a "one".
