February 22-23, 2024 - Current A&T/College Students only


June 20, 2025 - Incoming Freshman and Current College Students 


As a top collegiate band auxiliary program, Golden Delight has a rigorous selection and training process. We seek to provide as much information up front to assist candidates in their preparation. On average, successful candidates spent at least one full year intentionally working to refine skills to audition for our team. Pre-audition season should be taken very seriously to be competitive.

Golden Delight Auditions are by invitation only. To apply, you must prepare an audition video and submit through our application portal.


Videos are accepted year round. Once the staff has reviewed your video, we will notify you via email if you are invited to auditions.

 Once invited, candidates will receive a detailed packet to prepare for auditions that shares what to wear, the schedule, how to prepare, what to expect, etc. During this time, candidates are encouraged to attend Prep Clinics. Dates can be found on our events page.

ATTEND AUDITIONS

  Auditions are held in person in February and June every year and are mandatory. Videos are appropriate for invitations only, not the actual audition. Auditions are highly competitive. Incoming Freshman are only to attend the Summer audition.
